Chrysopsis linearifolia ssp. linearifolia is native to the Florida Panhandle. Its inflorescence is umbelliform with short branches, unless damaged. The plants can be more than a meter tall with very linear leaves. The subspecies can hybridize with C. lanuginosaproducing intermediate F1 plants.
