Chrysopsis scabrella

Chrysopsis scabrella Torr. & A. Gray is native to peninsula Florida. It has densely glandular leaves (stiplitate glands small) and phyllaries and fruits that lack translucent reddish brown ridges. The species is diploid (2n=10).  See Semple (2006 FNA).
