The Workbench and Dashboard functionaries are going to be combined in WCMS 3 simply as the Dashboard. This will allow for greater flexibility in what information can be displayed and make it easier to find content.

IST's Web Development team conducted a WCMS change management survey to gather feedback from WCMS users that will help inform change management processes for the WCMS 3 Rebuild project.
WCMS was launched eight years ago with the goal of providing the campus community an easy-to-use tool to publish web content in a consistent, and accessible, framework. In 2016, “WCMS 2” was introduced with the first major changes. It is now 2019 and we are preparing for the next major set of changes, which we are calling “WCMS 3.” WCMS3 adds some of the most requested features from content authors while retaining mostly the same end user experiance.
