Travel Options
If you are travelling to the CUMC from outside of Waterloo Region, there are various travel options for you to explore.
Go Transit
There is daily service between the University of Waterloo to the entire GO Transit Bus & Rail system throughout Southern Ontario. You can learn more about GO Transit on campus here.
If you are flying into the Pearson International Airport in Toronto, you can take GO Bus Route 40 from Pearson Airport Terminal 1 to Square One Terminal. From there, you can take Route 25 or 25C to the University of Waterloo. Please note that Route 25C is the express bus route. You can check out the cost on this website.
Car Travel
If you have your own vehicle, or plan on renting a vehicle to travel to Waterloo, parking is available to purchase. You can learn more about visitor parking lots on this webpage. The University of Waterloo campus does not allow for overnight parking during the hours of 3 a.m and 6 a.m unless you have a valid Student Residence parking pass.
If you are staying on campus in our accommodations, your stay comes with one free parking spot. This is a valid Student Residence parking pass, which will allow you to park overnight throughout the conference from June 23rd to June 27th.
Navigating Campus
The conference will take place on the University of Waterloo campus within the Faculty of Mathematics Buildings and the Mike and Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre. The schedule and events listings will share where each session is located.
The campus map will help you navigate campus. All University building are on google maps and can assist in creating walking paths.
