Year
Secondment
A
bachelor’s
degree
or
equivalent
education
and
experience
required,
post-degree
education
preferred.
Experience
is
required within
a
related
field
(e.g., journalism,
education,
library
or
legal
studies).
Theoretical
and
practical
training
in
copyright
management
with
knowledge
of
Canadian copyright
legislation
and
issues
as
it
pertains
to
post-secondary
education
is required.
Two
years’
demonstrated
experience
in
copyright
education
and
compliance
in
relevant
fields
(e.g.,
publishing,
journalism,
education,
and
law).
Working
knowledge
of
course
management
systems,
web
and
multimedia
authoring
tools
an
asset.
Experience
with
information/knowledge
management
and
databases/record-keeping
software.
Ability
to
think
analytically
and
to
solve
problems
creatively
and
effectively.
High
degree
of
initiative,
excellent
project
management
skills
and
the
ability
to
handle
multiple
demands
and
changing
priorities
is
required.
Strong
collaborative
relationship-
and
team-building
skills;
superior
interpersonal
skills
are
imperative
to
this
role.
Excellent
oral
and
written
communication
and
presentation
skills.
