On-Campus
Campus mail service allows members of the campus community to send mail to one another at no cost.
Using Campus Mail:
- Use a reusable campus mail envelope for all campus mail.
- Include the following on the envelope:
- Recipient’s name
- Department name
- Building name and room number
- Ensure the envelope is securely sealed. Do not use staples; they can cause injury.
- Ordering envelopes:
- Large orders: through the Central Stores online catalogue
- Small quantities: email request for used on-campus envelopes to Wes Stewart
Pickup & Delivery:
- Mail is typically picked up and delivered once per day.
- Buildings with reduced mail activity may see less frequent pickups.
- Order of pick-up and delivery times may vary.
- Service may be impacted by staffing levels or operational constraints.
Same-Day Mail:
Departments that want mail processed the same day and have missed their pickup or haven’t received a pick-up can bring mail to the Central Stores (ECH) Mailroom by 1:30 p.m. to ensure it reaches Canada Post the same day.
