All Receiving (x42262), Shipping (x46621), Bookings (x42207), Mail Delivery/Pickup (x49162), Letter Shop (x42034), Canada Post Outgoing Mail Processing (x43124), Moving & Storage (x46305), Gas Cylinder Processing (x49394), Used Product Handling (x42821), Office Paper Recycling/Shredding (x46305) and Digital Imaging services (x49393) have resumed normal operation.

Asset disposal

Disposal roomThis service allows you to dispose of redundant or surplus items such as furniture, equipment, lab supplies, computers, e-waste, etc. For more information on Asset Disposal and policy 74 click here.
To fill out the on-line Asset Disposal form, please click here.  You will have to enter your userID and password, then scroll down and click on Finance Forms,  click on Capital Assets and the Asset Disposal form will be in the drop down menu.

When you fill in the form fields and click “Generate Form”, the information will automatically be input into a PDF form that you print and obtain signatures on.  Then, according to the updated procedure, you send a scan of the form to csss@uwaterloo.ca and retain the original for your records.

An oil and/or liquids Removal Tag is required for all items that could house fluids.

All surplus supplies that are of interest for department reuse are available, by appointment, for viewing: call Sean Kimpinski at ext. 42821 for appointments.
