On September 21, 2014, the Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement opened its doors for the first time in celebration of the International Day of Peace. Since then, the CPA has hosted Peace Week to celebrate and promote the pursuit of peace and justice in our community and around the world.
This year, the CPA is marking Peace Week through a series of publications and community events that invite us to reflect on our challenges and triumphs over the last year and look forward with hope and a vision for the future.
We invite you to be in community with us, in-person or virtually, during this Peace Week. Take a moment to reflect on the difficult year behind us, and then look forward to the year ahead by joining us from September 20-24, 2021.
