Coastal zone

As Canada’s national conference for coastal zone management, CZC 2027 invites everyone who works within coastal zones to come together to explore how time-honoured practices and cutting-edge technologies can complement one another.

Bringing together Indigenous knowledge holders, engineers, scientists, youth, artists, planners, technologists, climate practitioners, and community leaders, the conference aims to advance shared understanding of evolving coastal pressures and opportunities. Through dialogue, collaboration, and creativity, CZC 2027 will foster meaningful connections that support informed decision-making and more impactful, inclusive approaches to coastal stewardship.

Abstract submission call will be made mid-summer 2026.
