The current CS GSA president's mandate will end at the end of this term. The CS GSA is now calling for nominations for the role of president. Please send us your nominations through email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Friday, March 12th, along with a statement to represent you and help students know you better in the upcoming election.
This is a year-long position, and it replaces 2 TA units and will be compensated as such. The president will work with a group of 6 board members (for more details visit our website).
A description of the CS GSA president's responsibilities can be found here. There will be a Q & A session for anyone who has questions about the position on March 3rd at noon. The session will take place in the Q&A channel of the CS Grad Students MS Teams.
The timeline for the election is as follows:
- March 1st to March 12th - Nomination Period
- March 15th to March 19th - Campaigning Period. At the request of candidates, the CS GSA will schedule a meeting with the board and the students.
- March 22th to March 26th - Election Days
