Elections & Nominations call

CS-GSA elections are coming this November. This is a great opportunity to get involved in your graduate student community. Nominations are open for all positions, except the president. Each position's term will last for 12 months, starting January 1st, 2021. A brief outline of each position can be found below. Refunds Negotiated for GRT Fee

Good afternoon! We wanted to share some exciting news. The UWGSA has renegotiated our GRT fees, and have introduced three new refunds. If you are (1) living outside of Waterloo due to an event such as COVID-19, (2) a research-based student who has finished all courses, or (3) a course-work based student with a part time workload, you may be eligible.

Aishwarya Ramanathan, 1st year Masters,has been elected as the President of the Computer Science Graduate Student Association (CS GSA) for the term from May 1st, 2020 to April 30th, 2021.

Voting for the President of the CS GSA opened on March 29th and ended on April 3rd.

Constitution is Adopted

The majority - 96% - voted for the adoption of the CS GSA Constitution. The full text is publicly available on our website.

Elections for 2020 Board Mandate

The most exciting time of the year has come: we are receiving nominations for CS GSA positions! 

This is an opportunity to get more involved with the departmental activities and get to know more about the department. By taking on any of these roles you will be a member of the CS GSA board and you will attend the monthly board meetings in which we will discuss the recent issues and plan events for our community! (More details on the responsibilities of each role below).
