Presidential Elections & Nominations call
CS-GSA elections are coming this November. This is a great opportunity to get involved in your graduate student community. Nominations are open for all positions, except the president. Each position's term will last for 12 months, starting January 1st, 2021. A brief outline of each position can be found below. To apply, please send a paragraph long personal statement to csgsa@uwaterloo.ca by November 10.
Good afternoon! We wanted to share some exciting news. The UWGSA has renegotiated our GRT fees, and have introduced three new refunds. If you are (1) living outside of Waterloo due to an event such as COVID-19, (2) a research-based student who has finished all courses, or (3) a course-work based student with a part time workload, you may be eligible.

Well, it's that time of year again. The beginning of the fall term, and the start of a new academic year. We wanted to take this moment to welcome back all returning students, and to give a warm welcome to all new CS grad students!
We have compiled a list of informational and financial resources available at the University.
Aishwarya Ramanathan, 1st year Masters, has been elected as the President of the Computer Science Graduate Student Association (CS GSA) for the term from May 1st, 2020 to April 30th, 2021.
Voting for the President of the CS GSA opened on March 29th and ended on April 3rd.
Computer Science Graduate Students will be choosing the next CS GSA President. The president is responsible for representing graduate students in the school council, as well as supporting students during orientation, promoting social gatherings and getting involved in departmental politics.
