In first year, I wish I knew just how important office hours are!
I also wish I knew that studying 24 hours of the day is not always the best way to get the grades you want. Get out of your comfort zone and meet as many people as you can, because the friends you will make in your first year are truly the best thing about university.

Favourite place to eat in Waterloo: Kinkaku Izakaya - best sushi ever.
Memorable co-op experience: For my first co-op I worked as a Java Developer. The learning curve was surprisingly steep, it opened my eyes to what it takes to become a real developer. I loved working with a team of developers that are passionate and believe in the work they are doing.
Plans for life after CFM: Hopefully I can join/create a finance related start-up.
Fun fact: I've been to 11 different countries.
