In first year, I wish I knew to try different things that were new to me sooner. Obviously coming to an entirely new life, I did whatever I liked and I was comfortable with. However, by getting out of my comfort zone I got to increase my perspective on things and have learned many things about myself. University seems to be the best place to experience such things.

Memorable co-op experience: In my first and only co-op I got to work at a FinTech company and my title was Software Developer. I worked with my team’s web application and got to see various stuff related to it. I enjoyed working with a team to reach a big goal the most. It's both exciting and tense. The fact that there were so many rules and limitations to what you can do in a corporate environment was really surprising to me.
Plans for life after CFM: I have plans on doing an MBA and starting a start-up.
Fun fact: I used to be a professional swimmer and a pro League of Legends player at the same time.
