In first year, I wish I knew how to balance my studies and enjoy my time at university by meeting new people, joining clubs and attending events.
Involvement outside the classroom: I have participated in different case competitions and attended conferences which is a great way to network with professionals from different companies. Additionally, I also try attending different dance workshops and events hosted by School of Accounting and Finance.

Fun fact(s): I'm very adventurous when it comes to eating food. I'm working toward being an epicurean.

Favourite or most recent co-op work term: I was employed as an IT Business Analyst Intern at a big data company called InfoGroup. As the only representative in Canada, I was responsible for making decisions for the company during their website migration project. During my term I was given the opportunity to present to more than 30 employees in the company. I was really surprised at my ability to learn and use a new programming language within a few days on the job. I learnt the importance of moving out of my comfort zone to accomplish things I never thought I could do.
Plans for life after CFM: I plan on studying further and completing my masters. I am certain that I want to pursue a career in the intersect of technology and business, so I would chose a degree that will foster this path.
