Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) plaque presentation and reception
Join us for a plaque presentation and reception to celebrate our accreditation from the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS). CFM has been recognized as an accredited interdisciplinary program (http://www.cips.ca/Interdisciplinary). This recognition attests to the quality of the CS curriculum within the program and provides CFM grads with the opportunity to pursue the Information Systems Professional (I.S.P.) and Information Technology Certified Professional (ITCP) designations.
Refreshments will be provided.
CFM Lunch
Welcome back to campus! Come catch up with your classmates. Salads, a variety of sandwiches, and dessert will be served.
CFM Ice Cream Social
For those of you on campus - Come celebrate the end of classes with some ice cream! The CFM Ice Cream Social will take place on Tuesday, July 30th at 3:30pm in the Cheriton School of Computer Science Lounge. Hopefully you can drop by for a little bit to catch up with other CFMs before exams begin.
2013 School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) Welcome
Learn more about the academic resources available to you at the SAF and meet some of your professors. You'll also get the opportunity to hear about leadership opportunities and clubs in the SAF.
2013 CFM Welcome Event
First year students - Meet your classmates and chat with the Co-Directors of the program! We'll start off in DC 1304 at 5:30pm and then head over to DC 1301 to join the upper-year students for dinner.
Waterloo's 107th Convocation
Waterloo's 107th convocation gets underway on Friday. CFM graduates will be participating in the ceremony on Friday, October 25th at 2:30pm.

2013 CFM Co-op Prep Event
We know you're getting excited for co-op and hope this event will help answer some of the questions you have about the process. Upper-year CFM students will share their co-op experiences and offer advice on getting ready for the process and discuss job opportunities. They bring a wealth of first hand experience so don't miss the opportunity to hear what they have to say. Dinner will be provided.
