School of Accounting and Finance has invited alumnus José Hernandez CPA PhD, to speak on his new book Broken Business: Seven Steps to Reform Good Companies Gone Bad.  José’s book provides his insights and advice based on academic research and years of experience working with global companies facing crisis of their own making. His practice primarily focuses on supporting global corporations facing high-profile and complex white collar and regulatory matters.

President's Town Hall Meeting

Every year, members of the University of Waterloo community get together for the President's Town Hall.

It's our campus community's signature, once-a-year opportunity to take a step back and look at the big picture, while engaging President Hamdullahpur and other senior administrators in a Q&A about the issues that matter to you.

This year's President's Town Hall will be held on Wednesday, November 21 at 10:30 a.m. in Fed Hall. You can register to attend the event in person or via. livestream.

The Math Undergraduate Office is partnering with MathSoc to offer a De-stress event for students on Friday, February 8th (tomorrow).  

There will be pastries, cookies, cupcakes and hot chocolate served in the Math Undergraduate Office (MUO) starting at 11:00 am. 

Come join us to de-stress with your fellow students, share in on some fun, laughter, and food!

Seminar Series "Data Driven Equity Investment Strategies"

CFM is excited to offer this two-part seminar series, led by Master of Quantitative Finance alumnus Lei Wan (MQF, ’12). Lei works as a Quantitative Researcher and Option Trader for AGFiQ Asset Management and is excited to share his program and work experience as part of his lectures. Lectures will cover four topic areas for four hours over two consecutive Saturdays.
