Grade 10 students thinking about applying to university are invited (along with their parents) to Waterloo's information evening. Topics include:

• Finding a program you'll love
• Admissions and applying to university
• How to pay for a post-secondary education
• Tips from current Waterloo students

Join us on Saturday, March 19 to learn more about Computing and Financial Management. Information sessions will run throughout the day, including the following:

• CFM Drop-In Session from
  12 to 12:30pm in M3 1007

You'll have the opportunity to connect with current students, faculty, staff, and to explore our campus through tours and events.

Students who have received an Offer of Admission to Waterloo are invited to join us on May 28th to celebrate your success! On this day, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Chat with current students
• Speak with professors and staff
• Take campus, faculty, and/or residence tours
• Get more information about the program(s) you've been admitted to
• Find out about financing your education

Meet current students in CFM during the Ontario Universities' Fair held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) from Friday, September 23 to Sunday, September 25. 

Join us on Saturday, November 5th for the University of Waterloo Fall Open House! 

Meet with professors, staff, and current students who can help you decide if Waterloo is the right choice for you. 

Take a campus tour, visit our residences, attend information sessions, learn about key campus services, and meet with academic and co-op experts. 

Computing and Financial Management would like to invite prospective students and their families to our March Break Open House drop-in session in M3 room 1007 from 12-3 pm.

Come speak to faculty, staff, and current CFM students.  Learn what makes CFM a unique program relevant to the industry.

March Break Open House is a full-day program on campus designed to provide tours, answer questions, and find out more about what the University of Waterloo has to offer.

Who should attend?

Ontario high school students (grades 9 to 12) who are DECA Regional Competition winners and will be advancing to DECA Provincials. A maximum of 200 students who have competed in one of the following categories: 

• BFS - Business Finance Series
• ACT - Accounting Applications
• FTDM - Financial Services
• FCE - Financial Consulting Event
• PFL - Personal Financial Literacy

Women in Computer Science (WICS) is starting a Waterloo Chapter of the Technovation Challenge!

The ideation workshop will be held at the University of Waterloo. The workshop will introduce the Technovation Challenge and the MIT App Inventor — enough to give a sense of what coding will be like. In the afternoon, we’ll run an ideation workshop that helps the participants to explore their ideas for what their app might be about.

As the snow continues to fall, we are getting set to head out on our winter travels for 2018. Join us to learn more about Computing and Financial Management (CFM)!
