What I wish I had known as a first-year student:
- Make as many friends as possible because assignments are hard to get done without teamwork.
- What you learn in your 1A term does not necessarily help you secure a job. Check JobMine for any jobs or companies that you are interested in before winter term, find out what skills they are looking for, and develop them outside of the classroom.
- Grades help!
