Eleven University of Waterloo researchers have received Early Researcher Awards worth over $2 million.

The announcement is part of a larger investment by the Government of Ontario aimed at supporting research and innovative discoveries across Ontario. Each researcher will receive $140,000 over five years as well as an additional $50,000 from the University. They are:

The Government of Canada’s investments in scientific research through Budget 2018 supports the University of Waterloo’s innovation and gender equity efforts.
