Engineering recruitment 2024

Drawing upon their deep understanding of the recruitment cycle and the student journey, the Creative Studio worked with the Engineering Marketing and Undergraduate Recruitment to create a series of cool illustrated posters and stickers to promote each program within the Engineering faculty.

Dreaming big, Waterloo set out on a mission for its 100th anniversary! Thousands in our community joined forces to reinvent our university's culture. We started with a mood board, crafting bold designs and reviving forgotten photos to create a visual feast. The result? A stunning mural and an electrifying Town Hall experience set the stage for the exciting Waterloo at 100 journey! 

Graduates used to receive a handbook along with their diplomas at convocation. While on brand and a great resource for alumni, the piece was text- and link-heavy.
 
Then COVID hit. In-person events were cancelled and the handbook would now need to be mailed, giving us an opportunity to rethink the piece.

Looking to get the attention of our alumni, we created a bold, impactful and interactive print piece with a poster on one side and content on the other inviting them to go online for more information.
