Come kick off the United Way campaign with a BBQ

The University of Waterloo sign in the Arts Quad wrapped in red.

A message from the University of Waterloo United Way Campaign committee.

As part of UWaterloo Black and Gold Week, be part of our campus community spirit as we kick off our 2024 United Way campaign on September 17, rain or shine! The University of Waterloo is a proud, longstanding partner of United Way Waterloo Region Communities, who are making a difference in our community on issues like food security, housing and mental health.

As we prepare for our 2024 campaign running October 1 to October 31, join us for a free BBQ, featuring live music and games.

Bring your friends and colleagues, and don’t forget to show your support by wearing red! Snap a photo at the UWaterloo sign for a chance to win a prize.

Food will be available while quantities last.

When: Tuesday, September 17, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Where: Arts Quad (in front of Dana Porter Library)

RSVP: Registration is encouraged. Please RSVP by September 16.
