The Earth Sciences Museum is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year and as part of its celebration will be providing a public tour of the Rock Garden and Museum. 

Follow along with Curator Emeritus, Peter Russell and Curator, Corina McDonald as they tell ‘behind the scenes’ stories of the Earth Sciences Museum and Peter Russell Rock Garden.

Visitors are welcome to meet the tour guides in the Peter Russell Rock Garden at 1:00 pm.

Museum hours

Conestoga Rovers Learning Centre (the “Dino pit”) open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The museum’s main atrium, mining tunnel, Great Lakes fountain and stunning mineral exhibits open all day Monday to Friday, and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekends.

Peter Russell Rock Garden (located outdoors) open to the public year round. Self-guided tours are available.
