A Hands-On Environment for Water Education

Come visit the 19th Annual Waterloo Wellington Children's Groundwater Festival (WWCGF) which offers hands-on activities, discussions, demonstrations, displays and exhibits that will challenge students to consider the importance of groundwater to them as individuals and to society at large.
Students will learn about:

the physical science of groundwater

groundwater as a resource

the water cycle

the interdependence of people, plants, animals, soil, air and water

the results of the interaction between people and water, and what effects it has on the environment

the role of water in historic and contemporary processes and technology
