Corina McDonald

Corina McDonald is the curator of the Earth Sciences Museum and Science Museum and Galleries in the Faculty of Science at the University of Waterloo. She has been curating since 2012.

Corina grew up in Wawa, Ontario, an area well known for its beauty and significant geological richness. Her appreciation for natural beauty led her towards her hobbies as a photographer and potter, while her educational path led her to study Environmental Studies and then Earth Science - Geology at the University of Waterloo, completing a bachelors of Science in 2007 and Masters of Science in 2011.

Corina has been employed at the University of Waterloo since 2012 as the Science Museum Curator for both the Earth Sciences Museum and since 2019, the Science Museum and Galleries in the Faculty of Science. She completed her Certificate in Museum Studies with the Ontario Museum's Association in 2022.
