Along with mineral specimens, the Brantford Lapidary and Mineral Society donates generously to the Awards for the Encouragement of Interest in Mineralogy. These awards provide financial support for second year earth science students at the University of Waterloo. These awards have been presented to 4 students every year since 2006. We thank the Brantford Lapidary and Mineral Society very much for their support.
