Lawrence Lamb collection

Lawrence Lamb is a retired manager of the Biological Ecological Studies Lab at the University of Waterloo. He is a well-known advocate for naturalizing your garden. Former member of the Kitchener Waterloo Gem and Mineral Club.

Currently, Lamb volunteers at rare, a charitable research reserve in Cambridge. Part of his job involves taking people on plant walks.

Museum hours

Conestoga Rovers Learning Centre (the “Dino pit”) open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The museum’s main atrium, mining tunnel, Great Lakes fountain and stunning mineral exhibits open all day Monday to Friday and weekends from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Peter Russell Rock Garden (located outdoors) open to the public year round. Self-guided tours are available.
