Danielle defends her MSc thesis!

Ecohydrology Research Group MSc student Danielle Green successfully defended her thesis on June 11, 2024. Danielle's thesis is titled "Assessing the biodegradability of dissolved organic carbon in freshwater systems". Her research was supported by the NSERC Alliance Missions grant to the project “Adaptive management of green stormwater infrastructure to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from urban watersheds” and the Global Water Futures program. Danielle was further supported by an NSERC Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarship and the rare Charitable Research Reserve Ages Foundation Fellowship.

Danielle was supervised by Dr. Fereidoun Rezanezhad and Dr. Philippe Van Cappellen (both from Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Ecohydrology Research Group), and the committee included Dr. Tonya DelSontro (Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences) and Dr. Scott Smith (Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Wilfrid Laurier University).
