The 11th annual Canadian Science Policy Conference was held on November 13-15 in Ottawa and was attended by former Ecohydrology Research Group member Homa Kheyrollah Pour, now an Assistant Professor and Canada Research Chair in Remote Sensing of Environmental Change at Wilfred Laurier University and Linden Fairbairn, current Ecohydrology MSc student. Both are volunteers for the organizing committees of the conference. The conference brings together policy-makers and researchers from government, academia, NGOs and industry to discuss Canada’s leading science, technology and innovation challenges and policy. Homa delivered the welcoming remarks for the conference’s opening plenary and was involved in the program development of conference sessions. To learn more about CSPC 2019, click here.
