Global Water Futures announces the recipients of the Pillar 1 and 2 Projects Competition

Global Water Futures (GWF) announced the recipients of the Pillar 1 & 2 projects that recently received funding from the GWF initiative. Six new University of Waterloo-led research projects, among a total of 21 awards, are led by Waterloo researchers, including the project entitled "Winter Soil Processes in Transition". This project will be carried out jointly by Ecohydrology researchers Fereidoun Rezanezhad, Philippe Van Cappellen, Christina Smeaton, Colin McCarter, and Chris Parsons in collaboration with their Waterloo colleagues Laura Hug and David Rudolph, and Scott Smith of Wilfrid Laurier University. The team will be collaborating with several GWF Pillar 3 projects and the GWF core supporting team. If you are interested in this project, do not hesitate to contact us!
