The newly formed Ecohydrology Group for Gender Equality in Geosciences (EGGEG) held its inaugural meeting on April 14th and was well attended by 17 group members.
The main objective of our group is to facilitate solution-oriented discussions to promote peer mentoring and community building within our research group.
The first meeting focused on imposter phenomenon and subsequent meetings will follow a similar format whereby we use a literature-based approach to discuss gender issues in geosciences (e.g., gender bias).
Group hosts, Christina Smeaton, Geertje Pronk, and Erin Jones can be contacted for questions, suggestions, comments.
