Inaugural meeting for newly formed discussion group: EGGEG

The newly formed Ecohydrology Group for Gender Equality in Geosciences (EGGEG) held its inaugural meeting on April 14^th and was well attended by 17 group members.

The main objective of our group is to facilitate solution-oriented discussions to promote peer mentoring and community building within our research group.

The first meeting focused on imposter phenomenon and subsequent meetings will follow a similar format whereby we use a literature-based approach to discuss gender issues in geosciences (e.g., gender bias).
