A new paper, co-authored by Dr. Fereidoun Rezanezhad, has been published in Frontiers in Marine Science. The article, titled "Understanding the Coastal Ecocline: Assessing Sea–Land Interactions at Non-tidal, Low-Lying Coasts Through Interdisciplinary Research", was written in collaboration with Baltic TRANSCOAST research group in Germany. The paper presents the interdisciplinary approach of Baltic TRANSCOAST to understand the processes across lowland coastal transects under complex interactions between the different biogeochemical cycles caused by hydrological pathways.

Dr. Fereidoun Rezanezhad is a Mercator Fellow in the Baltic TRANSCOAST Research Training Group funded by German Research Foundation (see news item).

The open-access article can be found on the Frontiers in Marine Science website.
