Matthias Kreuzburg (PhD student from Baltic TRANSCOAST Research Training Group at University of Rostock, Germany) is visiting the Ecohydrology Research Group from September to December, 2017.

Researchers working in laboratory

Matthias is working together with Sierra Cranmer-Smith (co-op student) in conducting a multi- component/interdisciplinary column experiment to advance the process-based understanding of the biogeochemical processes governing carbon and nutrient transformations and exchange of trace gases in shallow waters impacted by terrestrial nutrient inputs from a coastal peatland.
