Philippe participated in a panel discussion organized by Environmental Defence on protecting the Grand River. Besides Philippe the panel included Courtney Skye of the Six Nations of the Grand River who is also the founder of Protect the Tract, with Karen Wirsig of Environmental Defence moderating the discussion. Philippe outlined what our current state of knowledge and understanding of microplastics in the Grand River watershed while Courtney Skye explained the critical role of the Six Nations People as environmental stewards.
