Philippe Van Cappellen attended the opening ceremony of the China-Canada Three Gorges Reservoir Water Center in Chongqing, China. During the following “International Workshop on Innovative Monitoring and Prediction of Non-Point Source Pollution and Water Quality in the Three Gorges Reservoir”, he delivered an invited lecture entitled “Modeling nutrients and water quality in large dam reservoirs, with emphasis on the Three Gorges Reservoir”. The presentation is co-authored by Dr. Hans Duerr, Mr. Severin Stojanovic, Ms. Taylor Maavara and Mr. Hexin Wang. Dr. William D. Taylor from the Department of Biology also attended the opening ceremony and workshop.
