Workshop on Reactive Transport Modeling held in Fontainebleau, France

The 2nd Reactive Transport for the Earth and Environmental Sciences in the 21st Century was held October 22-25 in the library of the École des Mines de Paris, next to the Château de Fontainebleau, France. The workshop focused on the latest conceptual and numerical advances in reactive transport modeling. The agenda included around 40 oral presentations and 20 posters by leading scientists in the field, including senior and junior researchers. The workshop offered many opportunities for networking. Philippe Van Cappellen gave a presentation entitled “Putting Geomicrobiology in Reactive Transport Modeling”.
