Wetlands
Day
was
celebrated
at
the
University
of
Waterloo.
The
events
included
an
invited
lecture
by
Dr.
Corinne
Schuster-Wallace
from
the
United
Nations
University,
followed
by
a
poster
session
highlighting
some
of
the
wetlands-related
research
activities
at
the
University
of
Waterloo.
About
75
people
attended
the
lecture
of
Dr.
Schuster-Wallace,
which
generated
lively
discussions.
Drs.
Kristen
Mitchell,
Christina
Smeaton
and
Fereidoun
Rezhanezad
of
the
Ecohydrology
Research
Group
were
the
main
organizers
of
the
events,
while
Dr.
Philippe
Van
Cappellen
served
as
master
of
ceremonies.
