oSTEM @ UWaterloo would like to invite you to our International Day of 2SLGBTQ+ People in STEM Panel on November 18th at 7PM, held online! If you don't already know, oSTEM or Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (oSTEM) is a chapter-based organization focused on 2SLGBTQIA+ people in STEM with over 100 student chapters at colleges and universities. oSTEM @ UWaterloo aims to create space for 2SLGBTQIA+ students to thrive professionally, academically, and socially.
This virtual event will allow us to hear more about what it is like to be queer and trans in the field, and the work that these folks do in mechanical engineering, physiology and medicine, climate science, and biochemistry.
