The Office of EDI-R will continue to drive meaningful and sustainable change, as laid out in our Strategic Plan and Commitments for 2024-25. Our planned and ongoing initiatives include the development of competency and capability building resources; working with campus leaders to implement recommendations and actions from the President’s Anti-Racism Taskforce (PART) and the Scarborough Charter; developing a Trans and Queer Strategy; strengthening the work of the office via the development of standard operating procedures; and assessing and evaluating the impact of our projects and initiatives.
As we move forward, our vision is to not only build trust, raise awareness, and foster collaboration but to inspire a collective commitment to a more inclusive and equitable future through intentional outreach and communication.
