This year, to celebrate and bring awareness to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, CCDI welcomes panelists to discuss our shared responsibilities in understanding disability issues, dispelling ableist myths and stereotypes, and illuminating the vast benefits of inclusive and accessible workplaces and societies for all people. This panel conversation will centre on the lived experiences of disabled professionals and educators, showcasing our collective perspectives and approaches. Through an intersectional lens, our panelists and host will invite learners to embrace knowledge and tools rooted in disability justice and accessibility as a solution to creating equity and inclusion in workplaces across Canada.
