Instrumental Chamber Ensemble End of Term Concert

ICE TrioThe End of Term concert for this term is being recorded,
and will be released on Monday, December 13 at 7pm.   Please join us for the Premiere.  We are pleased to present a wide range of pieces, from an Mendelssohn octet to a Koechlin Trio, performed by eight different groups.

"Discriminating Data: A Conversation with Wendy Chun"

Wendy Chun, Canada 150 Research Chair in New Media, will have an in-person discussion with Waterloo faculty and students about her new book, Discriminating Data: Correlation, Neighborhoods, and the New Politics of Recognition (MIT Press, 2021). This event is the second installation of Critical Tech Talk (CTT), a series designed to promote responsible innovation on campus and beyond. CTT is sponsored by every faculty on campus, in addition to the Office of Research and Communitech. The event will also be live-streamed.

Chamber Choir End of Term Concert - Fall 2021

University of Waterloo Chamber ChoirThe University of Waterloo Chamber Choir sings a varied program including works by Indigenous composer Andrew Balfour, Indian-American composer Reena Esmail and Haitian-American composer Sydney Guillaume.  Other composers whose works will be performed include Healey Willan, Rene Clausen, Benjamin Britten and Morton Lauridsen.
