Physical vapour deposition (PVD) is an important category of film growth techniques for quantum, nanotechnology, and semiconductor devices. The Quantum Nano Fabrication and Characterization Facility (QNFCF) houses a wide variety of PVD tools to serve the needs of a diverse community of researchers. With so many options for PVD tools, techniques, and process setpoints, how does one choose the right path of investigation and process development for their specific device?

The Office of Indigenous Relations (OIR), University of Waterloo School of Architecture in Cambridge and Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Centre (SOAHAC) will be collaborating for a community gathering and social to be hosted on the evening of February 13, 2025. The evening will include a connection to culture, song, dance, crafts, activities for kids and more!

SVPRO – the Sexual Violence Prevention & Response Office is preparing for Winter Consent Week - Monday January 27th – Friday January 31st. This is an opportunity for the UWaterloo Community to continue discussions about consent and set intentions to normalize, consider and understand consent in new ways.
