PhD Candidates at the Faculty of Environment, Lowine Hill (SERS), Madu Galappaththi (SERS), and Sarah Ghorpade (PLAN), co-designed and delivered a successful three-part workshop series in partnership with the Student Teaching Excellence Committee (STEC) to discuss and develop context-relevant and culturally appropriate research. This initiative guided students in identifying and challenging systemic barriers to social justice and to addressed status quos that reproduce and potentially reinforce existing inequalities.
