Graduate studies contacts
There is an entire community of faculty and staff in the Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA) and across six faculties that administers and supports graduate studies at Waterloo.
We are here to help you with your graduate program selection, application and admission, but please take some time to find the right contact person based on your needs.
Associate Deans and Faculty Administrative Assistants
Associate Deans (ADs) are the primary leaders for graduate studies within a faculty, department or school. Faculty administrative assistants support ADs with the operations of graduate studies for the unit.
Department and/or program Graduate Co-ordinators
In most cases, the department or program Graduate Coordinator is the primary point of contact for applicants who have paid their application fee and are preparing to, or have recently submitted their application for graduate studies.
Department, school or program Graduate Officers
Graduate Officers lead and are accountable for all admission decisions. In most cases, the Graduate Officer, working with committees, and/or ADs where necessary, is the final decision admission decision maker.
Recruitment specialists
If your still exploring and deciding what graduate program to apply to, a Recruitment Specialist is the best person to reach out to. Recruitment specialists can help you understand and compare programs, and admission requirements.
