When you're pursuing a graduate degree, a little passion goes a long way. Nicholas Richardson, a recent MMath grad, is living proof of that. The math enthusiast and avid musician, who sings a cappella and plays multiple instruments, combined his interests in a master's thesis exploring a new method of signal decomposition. The research has promising real-world applications in areas like medicine and seismology.
