Email uses your WatIAM password for authentication.
How do I access my email?
NOTE: First year incoming (Fall 2017) students
Before you access your Office 365 account for the first time you need to change your password in WatIAM (instructions on getting started with Office 365). Once that has been done you can access your account the usual way, as described below.

Can I forward my Waterloo email to another account?
Though Health Computing recommends you use your provided Waterloo email account, it is possible to forward it to an off-campus account.
Yes, you can create an inbox rule within Office 365 to forward your email to your preferred email address.
Can I keep my Waterloo email account after graduation?
You will keep your Office 365 email account after you graduate. However, 16 months after your last registered term you will no longer be able to use email@example.com, but firstname.lastname@example.org will continue.
Email forwarding (from @uwaterloo.ca to @edu.uwaterloo.ca) will be disabled at that time, but senders will still receive a bounce back message instructing them to email the recipient using their new address. It has yet to be determined how long this bounce back message will remain in place.
