Brittney Baldwin (Fairy Farts)

Brittney Baldwin is a mixed media artist whose family’s history almost exclusively belongs to K’Taqmkuk (Newfoundland). Her art is mostly inspired by pop culture and being a part of the first generation of her family to be born in Ontario. Brittney believes art is one of the most valuable tools in reconnecting to her ancestral histories and serving modern Indigenous communities. She often relies on humour to alleviate physical and spiritual traumas within her communities and herself.
