Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre
The Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre (WISC) is located at United College. They work to share Indigenous knowledge and provide culturally relevant information and support services within the University of Waterloo community, including Indigenous and non-Indigenous students, faculty and staff.
Indigenous Student Association
The Indigenous Student Association (ISA) is located within the Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre (WISC) and is a student run collective that supports the needs and interests of Indigenous undergraduate and graduate students on campus.
Waterloo Indigenous Residence
United College and Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre (WISC) offer a Living Community for Indigenous First Year Students. Their live-in Indigenous program supports the unique needs of Indigenous students, allowing the development of relationships and social networks.
Aises in Canada
Aises in Canada (the Canadian branch of AISES – American Indian Science and Engineering Society) is an organization focused on supporting and creating a community for Indigenous, Metis, and Inuit students in STEM. The AISES chapter at UWaterloo, invites any Engineering students to join and meet other Indigenous students at our school, and help grow themselves professionally as well as academically.
