Join us for the region’s largest Canada Day festival!

Each year, the University of Waterloo and our Federation of Students thank our community for its partnership and mutual support by hosting Waterloo Region's flagship Canada Day Celebration.

The Canada Day Celebration offers entertainment for all ages, including a range of family activities, delicious festival food and drinks, live performances by outstanding Canadian talent, and a spectacular fireworks display.

Optometry & Vision Science 50th Anniversary

In 2017, the School of Optometry and Vision Science will mark its 50th anniversary since moving to the University of Waterloo in 1967. We hope you will join us to mark this important milestone!

Matika Wilbur is an acclaimed portrait photographer and social documentarian from the Swinomish and Tulalip tribes of the Pacific Northwest. She is currently working on Project 562, a multi-year national photo and narrative undertaking to reveal contemporary Indian identity.
