Immigration “ask me anything” series: Maintaining full-time enrolment (Fall 2024)

Thursday, September 26, 2024 10:00 am - 10:45 am EDT (GMT -04:00)

Well, not anything! But if you have an immigration question that you'd like to ask one of Waterloo's immigration consultants and learn a bit about a highlighted immigration topic, please join us! Every "Ask Me Anything" session will focus on a specific immigration topic for the first 20 minutes.  The remaining 20 minutes will be available for a question and answer period. Your question doesn't have to be about the main topic: as long as it is related to immigration.

This session's topic: This session will focus on maintaining full-time enrolment and how this impacts your immigration status.  Part-time terms, off-terms, failed courses and authorized leave will also be discussed.  Have your questions ready for open Q&A afterwards!

PLEASE NOTE:

  • This will be an online session. You will receive a Microsoft Teams meeting link via email approximately 15 to 30 minutes before the session begins.
  • This session is open to all international students (undergraduate and graduate-level).
  • Every "Ask Me Anything” session will cover a unique immigration topic.
  • Immigration Information Sessions are where you should start if you are planning on extending or applying for an immigration document, or you want to learn about the immigration regulations related to an immigration topic.
