Mitacs: Globalink Research Award
The Mitacs Globalink Research Award (GRA) is currently accepting applications. This award aims to foster research partnerships between Canada and designated partner organizations in eligible countries and regions.
Qualified senior undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows who are selected for this opportunity will have the privilege of working on a 12- to 24-week research project under the joint guidance of both a home and host professor. As a recognition of their research efforts, recipients will be granted a $6,000 research award. These awards are made possible through collaboration with Mitacs's Canadian academic partners and are dependent on the availability of funding.

Beyond Borders: Field School in Ghana
Explore global environmental challenges—such as plastic pollution, water security, and climate change—while immersed in the vibrant culture of Ghana, West Africa. Students are currently engaging in hands-on learning and sustainable practices through meaningful research and cross-cultural collaboration.
The 65-day program brings together participants from the University of Waterloo (UW), the University of Cape Coast (UCC), and Ashesi University (AU), fostering shared learning and community engagement.
